Aimee Duroux

The quirkiness of Mai Whitman meets the wit of Hailee Steinfeld and the vulnerability of Troian Bellisario in Aimee Duroux.

Aimee is an Australian actress, writer and producer.

After performing in a primary school production of a play called “Who Am I?” Aimee ironically found the answer to the question the title asked - she’s a performer, a storyteller, an actor.

Always a creative child, Aimee's interest in the performing arts spiked at age 12 when she watched The Devil Wears Prada. Inspired by Meryl Streep's portrayal of Miranda Priestly (and what descended into an obsession with Streep’s body of work), Aimee realised that acting wasn't just something she wanted to do as an after school hobby.

A lover of learning, Aimee holds a Bachelor of Creative Industries, majoring in Drama and Media & Communication from the Queensland University of Technology. She is also a graduate of the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and the Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre.

In addition to her personal pursuits, Aimee works as an acting teacher, sharing her love of storytelling with students aged 5-17. She is also co-director of Brisbane performance company, Two Braids Collective and owner of accessories brand, High Key Obsessed.

Aimee is available to travel for work, both nationally and internationally. For booking inquiries, please refer to the contact page.
